- ➤ Fort Des Moines Little League's concession stand burned down Monday night, forcing a safety closure for investigation while the team plans to hold its season with makeshift concessions (supported by insurance and help from Little League of America). The Des Moines Register
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Des Moines International Airport closed out 2025 with 3.25 million passengers, a 2.4% rise from 2024 despite weather-related flight cancellations. The airport is expanding with a $600 million project that will add 11 gates and relocate its rental car center near Army Post Road + SW 28th Street. The Des Moines Register
