- ➤ Regional gas prices in the Midwest fell for the second straight week, with regular fuel averaging $2.74 per gallon on Monday — down from $2.86 the previous week, according to the EIA. The average price dropped by 9 cents last month, and the national price was $3.06 per gallon. The Des Moines Register

- ➤ Des Moines City Council will vote on Monday, Dec. 8 on a 7 million tax increment financing grant for the proposed pro soccer stadium + public plaza in downtown.
