- ➤ The iconic Nomade sculpture at Pappajohn Sculpture Park was disassembled for repairs—its metal structure is being fixed with new bolts and repainted. The park is also planning to raise nameplates and add paved areas, and Nomade is expected to return in spring. WHO 13

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Crews recently took down Waukee’s old water tower, built in 1978, and dismantled it for recycling. A new tower holding 2.5 million gallons — five times the capacity of its predecessor — is now in service to meet the needs of a growing community. KCCI
