Clive's Greenbelt Trail reopened for walkers, runners, and cyclists on Friday, July 31 after nearly two years of construction along I-35.
Some construction vehicles remain on site, so users are advised to be cautious.
Residents heading to the fair can get 1,776 free pork chops on a stick from the Iowa Pork Producers Association at the Pork Tent starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug.
16 near the Animal Learning Center's north entrance + each attendee may receive one chop while supplies last.
