- ➤ The state Transportation Commission approved funding on May 12 for four RISE road projects boosting business access in Perry, New Hampton, Bondurant, and West Burlington. The Perry project includes a roundabout for a new sausage plant and ADR axles in an industrial park. Radio Iowa

- ➤ A federally qualified health center in Centerville is set to close in July as rural healthcare options decline.
