ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On May 4, a fire in a three-story Evergreen Terrace Apartments building on E. Caulder Ave left at least 70 residents displaced and forced Jeff McFadden and his son to lose all their belongings, while local agencies provided emergency shelter and aid. The Des Moines Register
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ 515 Run Club has turned down a donation to cover its trail-use fees and will run without a permit at Gray's Lake and Women of Achievement Bridge as it seeks a change in city policy. The club will raise the issue at the City Council meeting on May 18. The Des Moines Register
