- ➤ Communities in Des Moines have gathered to learn about the Cambodian New Year — also known as Khmer — which will be celebrated for three days starting April 14 with traditional dance, music and food. Additional measures address tuition guarantees, residency criteria for medical programs, DEI policy limitations, and revised general education requirements — moves that may impact enrollment and revenue in coming years.
