- ➤ On Saturday, cyclists gathered at Union Park to remember Alex Pretti and Renee Good, who were killed earlier this month by immigration enforcement agents in Minnesota. Organizers said the Des Moines ride — one of 230 worldwide — united the community to honor the two cyclists. KCCI
- ➤ More than 150 cyclists gathered in Des Moines on Saturday for a ride from Union Park to the capitol to honor Alex Pretti, a local cyclist and ICU nurse whose legacy united the community. Organized by local groups, the event inspired similar rides across the nation. The Des Moines Register
